Every year, March 8 marks International Women's Day. Contrary to popular belief, it is not a simple celebration, nor an occasion to offer flowers, but a reminder that equality remains a daily struggle.
Around the world, women are still fighting for their fundamental rights: equal pay, freedom of dress, access to education, financial independence... and the fashion industry, often seen as a symbol of emancipation, is also an area where these inequalities persist.
📢 Women & Fashion: Between Emancipation and Exploitation
Fashion is a tool of power and expression, but it can also be an instrument of oppression when controlled by invisible dictates and inequalities.

📌 For the same job, a woman earns on average 20% less than a man. (UN)
📌 In some areas, simply wearing what you want remains a privilege and not a right.
In the face of this, we have a role to play as consumers and creators: choose brands that respect women's rights, support ethical initiatives and refuse to fuel an industry that exploits rather than values.

💡 Getting dressed should be an act of emancipation, never of constraint.
👊 Celebrating women also means rethinking fashion
This day is an opportunity to pay tribute to women who have changed history through their commitment and boldness. From Coco Chanel, who freed women from the corset, to those who work today for a fairer fashion, every action counts.
🔹 Encourage independent designers and brands that place women at the heart of their projects.
🔹 Promote a fashion that respects work and people, not just aesthetics.
🔹 Support conscious consumption, where buying becomes a militant choice and not a trivial act.
💡 March 8th is not a symbolic date, it is a daily commitment.
📍 March 8, a reminder and a collective action
So what to do today?
✅ Speak out and raise awareness about the importance of women's rights.
✅ Encourage a more responsible and feminist fashion, which values without exploiting.
✅ Celebrating the women who inspire us and their impact on society.
And you, which woman inspires you the most? ✨ Share her story and let's make our voices heard together.
